My little grandson who is 7 and a half came home really happy displaying a big smile.
When his dad ask what the excitement was all about he proudly displayed his "D" on a paper.
Now Jack is use to making all A's, never had a C or a D...he was simply proud of it because it was something new to him.
The simplicity of the mind of a child is something to smile about and be so grateful for.
Of course he had to be coached on the drawbacks of a D in his school work..but, not at the price of destroying his delight over accomplishing something new and different to him.
Keep laughing, it's such good medicine.
